Terms of use

A working draft, not legal advice. This page was written to be clear and honest about how Fexora actually behaves. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it should be before the service takes payment or opens to the public.

1. What Fexora is

Fexora Trading ("Fexora", "we") provides charting and market-analysis software. We are not a broker, a stock exchange, an exchange member, a clearing member, a portfolio manager, a research analyst or an investment adviser. We do not hold client funds or securities, we do not place, route or execute orders, and we do not have custody of anything belonging to you.

2. Your broker relationship is yours

Fexora draws charts using market data that reaches it through a connection you authorise with your own broker. That relationship, and everything in it — your funds, your KYC, your orders, your statements and your rights as that broker's client — remains entirely between you and your broker and is unchanged by using Fexora. You may withdraw the connection at any time from your broker's own systems.

3. Nothing here is advice

Everything the software shows is a description of trading that has already happened. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, and it is not tailored to your objectives, financial situation or needs. Decisions you take using it are yours alone.

4. What the charts can and cannot tell you

You should understand two limits before relying on the order-flow figures.

  • The side of a trade — whether it was buying or selling — is not carried by Indian retail market-data feeds. Fexora infers it from the order book. That inference is approximately right, not exact, and it is less reliable in fast markets.
  • When several trades reach the feed inside one update, only one price is reported. Fexora counts the remainder as unplaced rather than distributing it across price levels, and each bar displays how much of its volume could be placed and how much could be given a side.

These figures are shown so that you can judge the quality of what you are looking at. Please use them.

5. Availability

The software is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, that market data will arrive complete or on time, or that it will be free of error. Data may be delayed, missing or wrong for reasons at your broker, at an exchange or in the network between them and you.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your Fexora password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used by somebody else. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and to trade in the markets you connect.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break into the service, to overload it, to redistribute or resell market data obtained through it, to reverse-engineer it, or to use it to break any law or the rules of any exchange or regulator that applies to you.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Fexora is not liable for trading losses, lost profit, lost opportunity or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software or the data shown in it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will say so before it takes effect. Continuing to use Fexora after that is acceptance of the change.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
